and life lives on...

yup. odd as it may be, one month sees a deadly comet being hurled at me - the next enlivens my entire life.
jr amit, aka dugu arrived on the 21st of jan, 2009 in this life of mine to give me a much needed push and enthu to surge on positively.

The Deadly Change Comet

Yesterday I talked about the changes that I am experiencing, and in the eve, I was trying to make a friend try to understand and accept the biggest fact of Life - Death.

Today morning, I got a message informing me of my Nana ji's (mother's father) demise at 8:15 AM due to a cardiac arrest. It wasn't untimely, and he had lived a decent long enough life, and a big chunk of my childhood was spent with him.

You will be missed, Nana. As you used to say and bless, "Durga Durga, Kaali Kaali." May your soul rest in peace.

@. in memories.

Comet Change cometh...

Life has been going a bit smooth for a while - but with Jupiter's transit, it has started a huge roller-coaster ride.

A new life is about to brighten mine in a month n a half, and here I am looking for greener pastures wearing a green t-shirt, with a green field on my desktop.

Let's see what good this change brings.

Made another blog for technical stuff..

Earlier I had thought to put all my few thoughts here - but guess technology n philosophy need a divide to flourish.

The Labyrinth..

I had written this on 19th of March, 2001, between 11:30-11:40PM (that is 2330-2340hrs) - 16 days after I landed at Hyderabad to begin my journey as a professional. I was damn lonely - and my stylograph was a major support.

Following was the resultant outpour...

*********************************
Shadow was walking alone in the labyrinth of the new city when Memory called up from behind and asked "Where do you go, friend?"

Shadow smiled and took Memory into a warm embrace - feeling nostalgic. They walked hand-in-hand for quite a distance, remembering all and sundry. It was all fine until Memory took out an album of friends and placed it in Shadows hand.

Shadow became quiet and sad, and freeing his hands from that of Memory's, ran towards Tears who was standing at a distance with open arms. Shadow was swept by the storm of grief, and keeping his head on Tears' chest, drenched him with all that welled up from his eyes.

After his eyes dried up, Shadow thanked Tears and moved on - once again alone.

Suddenly, it was all dark - and Shadow saw Fear and Anxiety moving towards him. He looked to his left, he looked to his right - but then, on second thoughts, decided to give them a good fight. He drew a Torch, and away fled Fear. As for Anxiety, it daren't come near - for he saw Optimism standing right beside Shadow.

Profiled!

ok! just updated my profile!

Eureka! Eureka!

*no, I did not run out of my bathroom naked*

Almost woke up this morn' with a new bizarre thought. The brain has compartments. Life - as per Hindus - has 4 stages. Microsoft Outlook has Folders.

The idea - I plan to Archive my last 30 years, and only relate to it if and when I want to - instead of being bogged down by some memories every now and then. I know. It's not easy as it sounds - but as far as I know myself, I am good at detaching myself from my current scenario.

Some start!

Mesmerizing My Messy Mind

O yes! The minds' messed up. not that I am cranking up, but that I am planning and trying hard to restructure my life. New routines. New stuff to learn. New relationships. All brand new.

A dear friend of mine is also trying to tread the same path with me - and believe me, it's going to be a tough drive. The guy's a brainer - compared to me the no-brainer - and can be reached at http://talonx.blogspot.com/

A few things on my mind-map are to:
  1. Understand what I really want to do
  2. Chalk-out what I want to learn/unlearn
  3. Forgive n forget my past and move on
  4. Think of what else to write here.. :p

ok..will let u know more about my plans soon..

तब तक के लिए अलविदा॥ अब का करेंगे, ड्यूटी पे जाना है!

Dear Diary..

Sorry I have not come by for the last few weeks..Pramati just shifted recently to the Vanenburg vicinity, and was busy settling down.

Then, wifey n my b'day was in line. Both days did not really go as well as expected, but then, we did have a bit of fun and a lot of gifts. Gave a MotoRazr V3m to her, and she gifted me a Parker with a gold Om locket, along with a wonderful book called The Secret.

I made a vow to think and speak only positive about everything starting this year.

Take care all..

Begin from the beginning...

"Where shall I begin?" asked Alice.
"Begin from the beginning and continue till the end" said the king.

Hmm. Good thought. But I'd rather not start blabbering about all my 30+ years (no - I don't take 30+, the medicine).

Instead, I'd rather start off when I started working. A much shorter period - 8 years to be exact. I started off on this never ending sojourn in the cold October of 1999, at Lucknow.

OK..good for starters. I was wondering yesterday if I would actually come back here to write another blog.

See you again tomorrow.

The Quiller.

hi!

Hola all!

Just starting a blog here as have long wanted to have a blog.

This will be a mixture of everything - technical tid-bits, poetry, prose, dear-diary stuff - who knows, may be my long desired story!

Let's see how long I continue.

Cheers,

@mit

PS: for the uninitiated -

Quill is another name for a pen - and so is a Stylograph.
